Editor’s Note:

We’re extremely proud to let you see the letter of thanks that we have received from the Handi-Ham System, of Golden Valley , MN.

This letter is addressed to TARA, but it reflects the efforts of amateurs throughout the Northeast, plus New Jersey & Texas during last year’s TNT Trader Net Challenge.

This marked TARA’s third year of sponsoring this special event and we hope it will continue for many more to come.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this worthy cause!

Dear Mr. Eddy and the Members of TARA

By now you have received an "official" thank you letter from Courage Center’s Development Department for your recent donation of $950.00 in support of the Handi-Ham program.

Official thank you letters are nice, but I wanted to send you this personal note to express our deep and lasting appreciation for your support. The idea of a "challenge night" is a wonderful one—by increasing amateur radio activity you have gotten folks involved, made the program and its availability to persons with severe physical disabilities better known, and raised money all at the same time. These are all activities that are essential to the success of any program, and you have done a sterling job!!!

Thank you once again for your support and for sharing amateur radio with our members in this unique way!
