Seems RTTY contesting is getting more and more popular. Was not home for the EU opening on Saturday morning but worked a couple just as it started. Not much heard from SA. Had a few contacts on 15M. Never even checked 10M. Fun contest.

JA1EUL: TNX NICE CONTEST. I AM ENJOY IT.
VK6HZ: Well I didnt have much time (as you can see from my score!) and I have a very limited set up (Kenwood TS-480 and a 20M Hex beam) but I managed to work ZC4LI on first call! Forgot all about this one until late Saturday night local time....I wont forget next time!!!

VE3NCQ: Always fun to work a few contacts in a RTTY contest. Got my last state needed for WAS during this one.
M3ZWW: Gail force winds, quad damaged 30 minutes in to contest, poor conditions and lots of qsb, and just 5 watts.....great fun.....73 to all for the points
N7UVH: Nice turnout, Keeps getting bigger and bigger.. just think what we can do when sunspots are with us! Happy Holidays.. and see you in the next Tourney.
WB2JEP: Good to see much more activity this year. Had fun!
WN0L: Fun! Even with ice storm, high SWR on beam and Inv L. HyTower worked quite well in spite of lousy propagation.
KT0DX: First time in this contest and had a lot of fun and will be back to do it again. Worked some old friends from other contests and worked a whole lot of new ones.
VE7AFZ: Great contest. I was only able to operate for one hour this year but the conditions on 20 Meters seemed good.
VA7ST: Pretty good pace on 20M for just over an hour. Had to jump in, even if only for a little bit near the end.
XE2CRH: VERY POOR CONDS HAT FUN ANY WAY
YV6BTF: GREAT CONTEST, CONGRATULATION TO YOU ... 73'S DE JOSE YV6BTF

KE5OG: Lotsa Fun. Thanks to TARA and thanks for all the q's.
KJ6RA: Had a good time, didn't have a lot of time but a good time was had.
VE3TMT: Conditions only so-so but had fun. Didn't seem to be much activity. Worked 27 states, North Dakota WHERE ARE YOU! Have to make due with 100 watts and a vertical. See ya next time.
KE7YF: Heavy rain (over 3 inches during the contest period) played havoc with antenna swr. Played for about 10 hours and had a great time. 73's ....Paul
KC2FOL: My first RTTY contest. Had a great time. MixW software worked very well. --Bro. Rich
W1TY: Fourty meter operation only. Not great condx on Friday night but Saturday made up for it.
HI5YI: Hi OM! condition is vy poor. and am only barefoot. QSL I no problem via buro 100%. cu next contest G,L de hl5yi CHAE.. 73..
9M6XRO: Really rough band conditions. 10m was dead, 15 opened briefly and at my QTH in Borneo 40m was wiped out all night by Over-The-Horizon Radar from the North which was running 30db over S9. From here realistically that just left 20m where I made virtually all my contacts. Like everyone else "QRZ?" and "Pse Repeat" were the most used macros on my laptop! I was running 400w to a 2el Quad up 27m.......73 to all!
K7LV: An enjoyable contest. To bad conditions were not better. I have only a vertical (GAP manufactured) antenna within a few feet of several trees (antenna restricted neighborhood). But I did work a ZS. I used WriteLog ver 10. Without this, or similar program, these RTTY contests would be impossible. Nobody seems to tell new RTTY operators, and they are left to find out by luck, or trial and error. The reviews of these programs are sketchy at best. If there were some sort of teaching program for interested operators, there would be vastly more operators. I believe the information is correct as I understand it. This is a modest effort, and is not in the running, I believe. If the numbers seem unreasonable, send me an e-mail, and I will send you a Cabrillo file. (no jail for purgery, please!) I have really just started this RTTY contesting.
W3MEL: The contest was really great. Lots of DX and multipliers and lots of contacts. Enjoyed it very much and lool forward to next time. Thanks for running it.
VE3GSI: Thanks everyone. Fun contest!
JR1NHD: I enjoyed the contest but only for a few hours.
VU2PTT: Just a casual effort testing the station. Hope to do more next time. Good to work a couple of East coast USA stations. Used an Icom IC-746PRO @ 70 Watts and Forceb>-12 C3S triband yagi antenna.
W7MAS: Had fun on the contest - was a good one.
F5PHW: Had fun! FT990 and HF6V 100w
OM1VA: Very poor propagation conditions on the bands, but some QSO for me valueable. CUAGN.
OH5VG: IC-756 pro2, 100W - SteppIR 3el & Butternut HF2V - MixW & RigExpert
Hi Om! Today condition is vy poor.and am only barefoot. Cu next another contest. G.L de hl5yi CHAE.. 73..
OH6HOW: RXTX: KENWOOD TS-480HX Ant: Caroline WINDOM 25meter hig.up
ON4BHQ: Bad propagation - hard job running low power - often problems with my outgoing FSK signal, software/hardware needs great checkup, I had the same problem during WAE RTTY contest. Setup: FT1000 MkV 100W - MA5B minibeam - G5RV - N1MM logger
ZC4LI: Thanks to the organisers. There seemed to be a lot more activity this year. 73 Steve.
IV3JCC: Hi: Only few hours of running this contest for no time to spend on air. Propagation as you know very bad....we must to wait. Tnx to all. 73 de iv3jcc
F2FZ: Category High but with only 300 watts.Very bad propagation mainly in first half of contest. Some interesting DX well done easy.Only 2 QSO on 15, nothing on 10. TRX Yaesu FT-2000, PA : Ameritron ALS 600 @ 300 watts for RTTY, antennas : 20-10 m. : 3 el. SteppIR, 80-40 m.:center fed wire 2x20 m. 73,Many thanks, hope be agn in 2008
GU0SUP: Had chores/shopping to do before I was allowed out to play with my friends! We had a severe storm here, with gusts up to Force 9, and torrential rain. Around 1600UTC, I had lots of static crashes, making it vrey hard to hear. Thanks to all for the fun, and the points. 73 all Phil GU0SUP
OH2LU: Thanks for another edition of TARA RTTY Melee. Good participation. Thank you all for the contacts. Season's Greetings de Tapani/OH2LU
GM0NBM: Not very good propagation to GM, but still enjoyable contest.

DL4PY: nice contest, poor conditions on 40 and 80 meters
YO5OHY: NICE CONTEST,MANY STATION 73! ZOLI YO5OHY

DG0KS: tnx for Contest. vy 73 de Michael
PG7V: Very bad propagation, but it was nice to be in this contest.
N3BM: Although it was good to have 160 available it didn't seem like jumping into the middle of the ARRL 160 Contest was the thing to do. Great fun but marginal conditions at my QTH. Nothing that a SteppIR couldn't cure!
K0COP: I forgot about this test. HI - Sri 73 Dave
N4LF: Not much operating time available (too many college football games!), but had fun handing out a few qso's.
W6RLL: Thanks for all of the contacts.
NT0F: Thanks for all of the contacts.
DK1AW: Pity, I had only 2 hours time. But it was still fun. 73 de Dieter
G0RPM: A really enjoyaable contest, thank you. I just wish I could spend a few more hours on the air!
KS0M: With my limited time I hoped to make 25 or 30 contacts. The bands were full of calls and I ended up doing better than I thought I could. My first try at this contest using the N1MM logger with the MMTTY engine. As always, I had a lot of fun.
G3RSD: Enjoyble contest will find it more interesting when propagation conditions improve. Thanks you for organising it. 73 John G3RSD
VE7AXU: This is a fun contest and it was nice to work a few new calls!
EA8BEX: A very interesting contest. I'm very happy. See you next competition - Manuel
VE7CF: Managed only about 6 hours of activity in this contest, but enjoyed it nontheless. I worked 20M only as 40 es 80 meters are a lost cause for me due to a neighbours' low-voltage lighting interference. Look forward to improving hf propagation in the years to come.
LA6BNA: I had all together 17 qsos on 80-40-20 m bands.
ZS2EZ: Relatively low participation levels from outside of USA coupled with very poor band conditions made this contest hard work! 15m never really opened here, and it seemed most US stations stayed on 80 (no suitable antenna here) during the morning session, resulting in disappointing activity on 40m here. 160 is not an option on my small property! Good 20m condx Saturday evening at least made for a semi-respectable total.
KE5OG: This is my second submission...the first one didn't seem to make it through.
W4RK: GREAT CONTEST! GOOD PARTICIPATION FROM DX STATIONS.
VE7BSM: Lots on 20 40 80 but all North America. Couple JAs on 20. Nothing on 15 or 10.. It can only get better
KT1I: An enjoyable contest despite terrible conditions. Was surprised to hear JA's calling me at sunset Sat. Operated ten hours in all.
GM4KLN: First time in the test. Great fun. 20m only plus a single 40m QSO. About 3 hours in total. 10w to 20m mobile whip.
W1BYH: FUN CONTEST BUT SPLIT TIME WITH THE ARRL 160 CW ! PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE DONE ONE OR THE OTHER, BUT IT SURE WAS A RADIO-FUN WEEKEND ! THANKS TO THE SPONSORS AND ALL THOSE WHO PASSED OUT THE Q'S. VERY 73 NORM W1BYH
W6OQI: Enjoyed the TARA contest. The 24 hour contest period is enough with the 12 hour break. Hope to do it again next year.
K3IXD: Tnx for sponsoring this contest, had fun.
NP3D: It was my part time participation. Had things to do at home, and amplifier is broken, so decided just see whats going on. Noticed high activity on the bands, thats good. 73! See you next year de Andrei NP3D
K3UK: Just worked a few but always fun. 73 and thanks.
WB4YDL: This was my first TARA Melee and I really enjoyed it. Signals from EU were generally weaker but workable. I had some nice call-ins with a D2 to the East and FO to the West. Also had a nice JA run with a closing 20M band - only one HL though. I attempted no 160M contacts with the ARRL 160M contest ongoing. I'll try to be a regular !
N8NOE: CTDXCC, and not a huge amount of time to run.. LOTS of fun and 80 Meter was Great!

W7QQQ: Really enjoyed this one. Propagation on 80m had its surprises. Used only thin wire stealthy antennas.
K0WHV: i had fun thanks all for the contacts k0whv

OK1KMG: OP OK1ULE; TRX: FT-847; PWR: 100 W; ANT: 160 & 80 m = LW 80 m, over = ECO Yagi Beam Asay 78 or ECO vertical. 73, Leos OK1ULE!
W5AP: Only operated several hours but had fun in a very nice contest which lasts a reasonable length of time. 15M was spotty with only a dipole. I need another antenna to compete in SO2R. But its fun to try. N1MM rocks. Thanks guys.
EA4ALV: No Prop on 10 nor 15 meter bands, but isn't problem... Nice, easy and comfortable. That's TARA Mêlée!
