Objective:

Amateurs worldwide Contact and exchange QSO information with as many stations as possible using PSK63 only. Any station may work any other station.

Exchange:

US: Send Name and State.
Canada: Send Name and Province.
DX: Send Name and Serial Number starting with #001.

Running Rules:

  • Call CQ TARA Fracas
  • SWL entries please read the SWL Special Rules
  •  
    Categories Single Operator
    HIGH Power up to 100w
    LOW Power up to 20w
    QRP up to 5w
    SWL receive only!
  • Operate no more than 4 contiguous hours in the 24 hour window.
  • Run Single Transmitter/ Single Operator.

Operating Modes:

PSK63 ONLY!

Band:

 To maintain the privacy of the PSK31 operators, please use the PSK63 band(s).
         15m = 21.072.50 to 21.075.00
         20m = 14.072.50 to 14.075.00
         40m = 7.072.50 to 7.075.00

 No contesting on the WARC bands.

Points:


QSO Points: Count one point for each completed QSO (anyone can work anyone). A station may be worked once per band for QSO credit.

Power Multiplier:
           High Power x 10
           Low Power x 20
           QRP x 30

Total Score:

Total Score = Total QSO's x Power Multiplier

Post:

All VALID logs must be received via our Online Score Submission System.
For Ham's/SWL's with no internet connection that wish to submit a
"CHECK-LOG" should mail your logs to my QTH.
All logs must be received no later than --Date-- in order to be valid.
Decisions of the TARA Fracas Committee are final.

OLCAR:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category.

  • Top SWL score.

  • You can use this score to supplement your Tour'ney total but you must apply for that either by email or simply add the request to the Soap Box on the OnLine Score Form.

  • The awards for the Fracas are now part of our OLCAR system.

    Do NOT send logs. However, logs must be on hand and furnished if requested.
